Healthified Dump Cake

This is super yummy.  I just made this last night for labor day weekend.  It is a much healthier version of a traditional dump cake.  If you eat this, it won't make you look dumpy, lol!

In a 13 inch pan, dump in 1 can of crushed pineapple and 1 can of light or sugar free cherry pie filling.  Spread this out evenly over the bottom of the pan with a spatula.  Dump in one prepared white cake mix over the top and spread with the spatula.  I used Pillsbury reduced sugar white cake mix with egg whites.  Then bake for the reccommended time ofn the cake box, and you have a cake!

 

A traditional dump cake would have had two sticks of butter and nuts on top and would have had a lot more sugar and fat!

 

Makes 16 servings at about 200 calories each

Hey everyone, this is my very first blog entry.  I hope to get into blogging and have many more posts to come!  Today I have been very productive.  I cleaned the kitchen, did dishes, dusted and did laundry.  Now I am preparing to workout and then start cooking for the week. 

 

Here is a recipe I came up with last night that was super yummy.  It helped my ice cream craving when I didn't have any.

 

Rice Cake Chocolate Bowl:

 

1 chocolate rice cake, large, crumbled

Hershey's chocolate syrup (to taste)

mini chocolate chips (1 tbsp)

whipped cream, fat free
